These minimalist and timeless
elegant earrings feature 3.2 mm
large, perfectly cut tourmalines
in pink colour with a very high
clarity grade (VVS). Pink
Tourmalines are also known as
Rubellites, derived from the Latin
word "rubellus" (reddish). The
colour variety of rubellites ranges
from pink to violet to a dark red.
Rubellite is a fascinating variety
of Tourmaline and is very popular
among jewellery lovers. A special
property of this gemstone is its
dichroism, which allows the colour
of the stone to vary depending on
the viewing angle. Tourmalines
have only been known in Europe
since the beginning of the 18th
century, after Dutch traders
imported the stones mainly from
Ceylon. The faceted stones
were set by hand in a prong setting
and come from a renowned
gemstone cutting workshop. The
pink Tourmaline is often associated
with love, passion and vitality.
The stud earrings are supplied with
ear nuts (Clasps). The ear studs
are stamped in silver (925).
The ear studs are made of Sterling
Silver and are suitable for allergy
sufferers (Nickel-free). Please note the
actual size of the ear stud head of
approx. 3 mm, as the ear studs appear
larger in the picture ! The earrings are
delivered including jewellery box.
