The ear studs are made of sterling Silver
925. The ear stud head, where the
stone setting is located, is formed by
six prongs, which fix the faceted
Aquamarine in position. At the side,
the prong setting has small openings
to increase the incidence of light -
the light can penetrate the stone
unhindered, which brings out the
brilliance and pure colour of the
Aquamarine in particular. The faceting
further enhances this impression
by optimally refracting the incident
light and thus ensuring a sparkling
and vibrant play of colours. The
perfectly cut 5 mm Aquamarine, which
has a very high degree of purity
(VVS according to the international
purity scale), impresses with its lively
and transparent aquamarine blue colour.
The stone comes from a very
renowned gemstone cutter and was
set by hand in the 6-part prong setting.
The name "aquamarine" is derived
from the Latin "aqua marina",
which means "sea water". This name
reflects the typical colour of the stone.
It was considered a lucky charm for sailors.
Aquamarines are often associated with
qualities such as calm, harmony, courage
and clarity. The ear studs are supplied
