These chic and delicate opal earrings
have been crafted in a very
minimalist and contemporary
design. Opal cabochons (5 mm) were
selectedand set onto the round backs of the
stud earrings. Opals are among the most
precious gemstones and are extremely
popularas jewellery stones.

which manifests itself in the shifting
iridescence of the colours of the rainbow
– with every movement and depending on
the angle of the light. This property is also
known as opalescence (iridescence). Since
